The Truth About: This Blog

This isn't some educational blog about how football is dangerous, basketball is rigged, or baseball having "curses" as the title may communicate. My name is Hunter Thomas, and "The Truth" is my personal opinion on sports topics of the past, present, and future, and trust me, I stand by my opinion - more stubbornly than I should, I admit - but what fun is having an opinion without arguing it pointlessly? Before I get started with this blog, I'll go ahead and list my favorite sports teams in each of the biggest sports (and I won't be biased in my writing).

• NCAA Football (and all other NCAA sports) - Auburn Tigers (War Damn Eagle!)
• NFL - Atlanta Falcons
• NBA - Atlanta Hawks
• MLB - Atlanta Braves

I'm not a particularly huge soccer or hockey fan, but I'll be just as happy to write about them as I am any other sport. I just don't have a particular team that I pull for when it comes to those sports. Now, I AM a huge golf fan, but I excluded it from the list because it isn't quite as popular as the others. When it comes to the PGA, Auburn alumni Jason Dufner (War Damn Eagle again!) tops my list of favorite golfers, but following closely are Angel Cabrera, Jim Furyk, and Rickie Fowler.

In this blog, I'll be throwing my opinions out for you all to read, love, hate, agree with, disagree with, and argue with, but no matter what you say,
